"In the summer of 2020, I had just recently graduated from Texas Tech University as a mechanical engineer. During the dawn of COVID, I landed a temporary part time job as a lifeguard where I was lucky enough to have Hannah as my supervisor (she still assumes this role). We spent hours and hours together at the pool and I could tell we had a unique connection! Soon enough, we were dating, then sharing a business, and it all happened in the blink of an eye! Hannah was the catalyst for our business and manages the 'cute' factor, while I consider myself the architect and designer. Our combined efforts produced the dozens of birdhouses you will see on our page. Making unique birdhouses is our passion, our adapter into the economy, and our way of finding meaning in our work every day."
"When I met Matt, I knew he would be in my life for a long time. I told all my friends when I got home from work, that he was the one! On the day I met him, he was working at the pool I was supervising and we found a baby Pidgeon, who we named 'Gerald' and nurtured throughout the day. I think Gerald was a foreshadowing of everything that has happened since. A few months later, we started dating, and we got married in 2023! I had the idea to make a custom birdhouse for my grandmother, and luckily I know a crafty woodworker! We made the house for my Grammy, she loved it, and we have been 'birding' houses ever since. Running a business is fun because every day is a new story."
